Description
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Super B driver for steady fertilizer and salt work.

The majority of our work is plant-to-plant, with the occasional grain/farm load as required.

We are looking for someone who wants steady work, takes pride in their truck, and is dependable, loyal, and honest.



THE WORK

* Primarily fertilizer and salt
* Majority of loads are plant-to-plant
* Occasional grain/farm work
* Primarily Alberta & Saskatchewan
* Occasional Manitoba & British Columbia work
* Super B hopper work
* Monday to Friday
* Occasional weekend work during busier periods
* Drivers sleep in the truck while working
* Home base is Edmonton (preferred, but not a deal breaker for the right candidate)



PAY & EMPLOYMENT

* Paid percentage
* Paid once per month
* Payroll and subcontractor positions available
* Steady work
* Good earning potential
* Approximately $8,000–$12,000 gross per month, depending on workload, availability, and loads completed



WHAT WE REQUIRE

* Valid Class 1 Licence
* Super B experience required
* Clean driver’s abstract
* Edmonton-area drivers preferred (not a deal breaker)
* Must be comfortable sleeping in the truck while working Monday to Friday
* Must be willing and able to sweep out Super B hoppers when switching products
* Must be willing to wash the truck and trailers when required
* Must keep assigned equipment clean and looked after
* Non-smoker
* No shoes inside the truck — socks or slippers only
* Dependable, loyal, and honest
* Able to work independently and communicate properly with dispatch

No specific oilfield tickets or clean-shaven requirement.



MECHANICAL ABILITY

Being mechanically inclined is preferred but not mandatory.

We’re not expecting you to be a mechanic, but being able to troubleshoot or take care of minor issues on the road is a definite asset.

Examples:

* Air lines and fittings
* Coolant hoses
* Lights/electrical issues
* Minor roadside troubleshooting



THE EQUIPMENT

* Newer trucks
* Well-maintained equipment
* Assigned trucks
* Super B hoppers
* The truck currently needing a driver is an automatic and a 2024 truck
* Equipment is maintained properly, and we expect drivers to take care of it in return

THE TYPE OF DRIVER WE WANT

We’re looking for someone dependable, loyal, and honest.

We want a driver who shows up when they’re supposed to, communicates, takes care of their assigned equipment, and does the job properly without needing to be babysat.

The truck you’re assigned should be treated like it’s your own. Keep it clean, look after it, and speak up when something needs attention.
