Wells Contracting Inc. is looking for an experienced Excavator and Skid Steer Operator to join our team in Edmonton and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities include:

-Operating excavators and skid steers safely and efficiently
-Completing residential excavation and underground service work
-Performing site grading, backfilling and material placement
-Assisting with septic system installations and earthworks
-Completing daily equipment inspections
-Working safely around utilities, structures and ground crews
-Following company safety procedures and completing required documentation

Requirements:

-Previous excavator and skid steer operating experience
-Experience with underground services or civil construction is preferred
-Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
-Dependable, punctual and able to work well with a team
-Strong understanding of safe equipment operation
-CSTS, Ground Disturbance, First Aid and other safety certifications are considered assets
