First General is looking for a dependable, hard-working Contents Crew Member to join our restoration team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in helping people during difficult situations and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

About the role:
As a Contents Crew Member, you will help pack, clean, move, inventory, and restore customer’s belongings after fire, water, smoke, mold, sewage or other property damage. You will work closely with the restoration team to make sure contents are handled with care, documented properly, and returned in excellent condition whenever possible.

Key responsibilities:
Pack, wrap, label, and inventory customer contents from residential and commercial properties
Move contents safely to and from job sites, storage facilities, and cleaning areas
Clean and restore damaged items using approved methods and equipment
Photograph and document contents for tracking and insurance purposes
Set up and maintain organized storage areas and workspaces
Assist with demolition clean-up and general site support when required
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Provide professional and respectful service to customers dealing with stressful situations

Qualifications:
Previous experience in restoration, moving, cleaning, warehousing, or contents handling is an asset
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Comfortable working in physically demanding environments
Able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if needed
Good communication skills and a positive attitude and professional appearance
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Must be bondable
