PROJECT MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION

NewHeights Construction is Hiring!
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and hands-on Construction Project Manager to join our team and help manage residential construction and renovation projects throughout Toronto and the GTA.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate construction and renovation projects from start to completion
Work closely with the company owner on project planning, scheduling, priorities, and day-to-day operations
Provide regular project updates and communicate any delays, concerns, changes, or decisions requiring attention
Coordinate and schedule trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries
Regularly visit and oversee job sites to monitor progress and quality
Ensure projects remain organized and on schedule
Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project requirements
Communicate professionally with clients, trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and the NewHeights Construction team
Understand each stage of construction and determine the materials required for upcoming work
Plan and organize material requirements in advance to prevent delays
Order and coordinate materials and supplies as required
Pick up and drop off construction materials and supplies at job sites
Ensure the correct materials and quantities are available when needed
Keep track of materials ordered, delivered, and outstanding
Monitor workmanship and overall project quality
Identify and resolve job-site issues and communicate important matters to the company owner
Follow up on outstanding work and project deficiencies
Assist with final walkthroughs and project completion
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Building Construction, or a related program is an asset
Recent college or university graduates are encouraged to apply
Previous construction or project management experience is an asset, but not required for candidates with relevant education
Good understanding of construction materials and residential construction/renovation processes
Ability to read and understand construction drawings is an asset
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Ability to take direction while also working independently and taking initiative
Responsible, dependable, professional, punctual, and detail-oriented
Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence is required
Must be comfortable driving throughout Toronto and the GTA and transporting construction materials and supplies as required
Position Details
Position: Full-Time
Company: New Heights Construction
Location: Toronto & GTA
Wage: $23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
