We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Childcare Provider for our family (2 kids, a 5-year old and 1.5 year old). The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating young children, creating a safe and engaging environment for their growth and development using a gentle/conscious parenting style. This role is only for individuals who have experience working with children and are committed to fostering a positive, patient, progressive, and accepting atmosphere.

Responsibilities
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
Implement and supervise engagement in educational, leaning, and recreational activities that align with early childhood education standards.
Assist children with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and transitions between activities.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area.
Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children and assist with preparation of meals for adults.
Pick up and drop off child(ren) at daycare/school (does not require driving, but driver's license is preferred)
Observe children's behaviour and development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
Laundry and related cleaning and organizing activities.
Qualifications

2-3 years experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles is required, with specific knowledge and focus on gentle/conscious parenting principles.
Ability to educate and inspire children through creative play and structured activities.
Strong patience, persistence, and empathy.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
Minimum high school education or equivalent
Permanent resident or Canadian Citizen
