Café & Convenience Store Associate – Full-Time / Part-Time

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking person to join our café and convenience store located on Highway 7 in the Maberly/Perth area.

Our store will offer convenience-store items, café food and beverages, and ice cream, so we are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers and can help keep the store welcoming, clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

* Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
* Operate the cash register/POS and handle cash and card payments
* Sell convenience-store products
* Prepare and serve café items, coffee and other beverages
* Prepare and serve ice cream
* Restock shelves, coolers and supplies
* Keep the counter, café, ice-cream area and customer areas clean
* Perform general cleaning and maintain food-safety standards
* Receive and organize deliveries when required
* Assist with opening or closing duties depending on the shift

* Previous convenience store, café, restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset, but training can be provided

Pay: Ontario minimum wage

Schedule: Full-time and/or part-time positions available. Weekend and evening availability is an asset.
