Oshkagoojin Indigenous Theatre for Youth (OITY) is excited to offer a FREE Indigenous Summer Theatre Workshop for youth ages 8–17 in Vancouver!

Come spend the day creating, playing, telling stories, and exploring theatre with us!

Who: Indigenous youth ages 8–17
When: Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26
Time: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM each day
Location: The C-Space / Progress Lab 1422
Address: 1422 Williams St., Vancouver, BC
Cost: FREE
Spaces: Limited to 25 participants

Youth are welcome to attend one or both workshop days, and each day is designed as a stand-alone experience.

Stories to Play on the Coast... and the City

Youth will have the chance to explore theatre and Indigenous storytelling through theatre games, movement, voice, creativity, public speaking, and other fun activities.

We want this workshop to be a welcoming space where youth can be creative, try something new, share stories, and have fun with other Indigenous youth.

You do not need any previous theatre experience to participate!
