2026 Sorrel AQHA Filly
Description
Born April 27, 2026.
This filly is quiet and friendly, follows me around the pasture while I’m taking pictures. She can be petted all over, and we can pick her feet up in pasture.
I expect her to mature around 15-15.1. Both sire and dam are in that range. She should be solid bodied and correct, with good foot and bone. I kept her full sister last season as my holdback filly, and haven’t regretted it. (At ~16 months old, that bay filly from last season has not yet had an “awkward stage” where I wonder where we went wrong. Lol. She has consistently been solidly built, well balanced, correct conformation, and really good feet). I expect much of the same, from this year’s sorrel filly.
She may not have the Chrome that some look for, but you don’t get longevity and work ethic from the paint job. Lol. I think she should mature to be one that would look real good, backing into the box at a team roping when she’s older, but she should be level headed enough to carry your Gramma down the trail someday too… Gunner’s build, and the “born broke” gene tend to run deep in his foals! Lol. ♀️
She will be ready to leave around beginning to mid September. 50% deposit holds until weaning.
No offers for trades please.
References available.
Text (204-534-0995) or OKz.ca chat preferred. Not great cell service at home for voice calls. If you prefer a voice call, the best time to catch me where I know service is pretty consistent, between 730-930pm is the best time to call. I’m generally in the yard or house by then.
