Hi, my name is Ross. I offer Online and In-Person flute lessons to adults and children of all ages and levels.

I'm a professional musician with over 16 years of performing, and 9 years of teaching experience and a Master's degree in Music. As a multi-instrumentalist, I've played in various orchestras and ensembles all over Europe, China and Canada, which have given me extensive knowledge and understanding of repertoire from classical to modern. Currently, I'm the principal bassoonist with the Kindred Spirits Orchestra.

I’ve always been passionate about teaching. Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of helping many students prepare for and successfully enter university music programs, pass various levels of RCM exams, and prepare for and win competitions. I’ve also helped students prepare for band, ensemble, and solo concerts.

Sharing my experience and passion for music with my students over the past 9 years has been a truly rewarding experience.

I provide an individual approach to each student, giving the right amount of challenge depending on their goals, personality, and experience to keep my lessons as productive and interesting as possible. I also help my students choose the right equipment and make small repairs to their instruments.

I'll be happy to help you or your child achieve your musical goals and learn the necessary skills to excel at playing flute!

Lesson Rates:
30-minute lesson — $35
Great for beginners or when a more time-efficient lesson is preferred.

45-minute lesson — $45
The standard and recommended lesson length for most students.

60-minute lesson — $55
For intermediate students who need longer lessons.

I offer weekly lessons in packages of 4
(The trial lesson is 30 minutes long and $20)
Longer lessons available.

Discounts may be offered for 2 or more students.

*If you prefer to have lessons at your location, an extra fee will apply.
