Synergy Recruitment Solutions is seeking an outstanding Lead Automotive Technician on behalf of Precision Auto Service — a trusted, long-standing independent repair shop in Langley with a modern facility, state-of-the-art equipment, and a strong team culture.
Precision is looking for an A technician with an uncommon combination of advanced diagnostic capability, European vehicle expertise, and strong all-around mechanical competence.
Compensation:
• $100,000–$130,000/year

Top Priority:
• Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification
• Extensive professional experience as a senior-level automotive technician
• Advanced diagnostic skills, including electrical, drivability, network and module-related faults
• Strong experience with European vehicles and European diagnostic platforms
• Experience with vehicle programming, coding and module-level diagnostics
• Excellent mechanical aptitude — this is not a diagnostics-only position
• Ability to confidently perform complex mechanical repairs in addition to advanced diagnostic work
• Strong understanding of modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems
Strong Assets:
• Mercedes-Benz experience
• Mercedes Sprinter / BlueTEC diesel experience
• Experience working across multiple European manufacturers
• Familiarity with aftermarket and OEM-level diagnostic/programming equipment
Core Responsibilities:
• Diagnose complex electrical, electronic, drivability and mechanical faults
• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics, programming and coding
• Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance to a high professional standard
• Work confidently on European vehicles as well as domestic and Asian makes
• Diagnose and repair Mercedes-Benz Sprinter/BlueTEC vehicles where applicable
• Accurately document diagnostic findings and work performed
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other technicians
• Assist with technically challenging vehicles and difficult diagnostic cases
• Road-test vehicles as required
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional work environment
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development
