Amazing 7 month male rough collie needs new home. We are determined to find him a great fit. He is incredibly intelligent and learns new commands in just a few tries. We had got him as a puppy and was training him to be a service dog for our son but he doesn't have the right temperament for service work. He is a bit too timid but not aggressive at all. Slightly scared of children. He is going to make an amazing pet with a little more training. He knows, come, sit, settle down, leave it, heel, and stay and kennel. He is entering teenage years so currently his training needs to be doubled down as he doesn't think he needs to listen. He is very active . We have done alot of exposure work but he is just a bit too reserved with people to work as a service dog. He is up to date on all vaccines but not neutered as we were told to wait til closer to 12 month for his growth and joint development. He likes our cat, and gets along well with our other dogs. We just don't have to space and time to train two larger breed dogs and our son really needs a service dog otherwise we would keep him. He is very treat motivated and house broken.
