Job description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to join our metal fabrication and warehouse team in Montreal. The position involves wrapping and preparing metal bundles, sorting materials, organizing products, and completing various tasks assigned by the supervisor. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Wrap, secure, and prepare metal bundles for storage or shipment.
Sort and organize metal products and materials.
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as required.
Prepare and organize orders according to instructions.
Inspect materials and ensure they are properly prepared and secured.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow company health and safety procedures and workplace instructions.
Complete tasks and assignments provided by the supervisor.
Assist production, fabrication, and warehouse teams when required.
Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
Requirements

Previous warehouse, manufacturing, metal fabrication, or general labour experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work throughout the shift.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
Commitment to workplace safety.
