Dental Hygienist - Part-Time Leading to Full-Time

Our small, family-oriented dental practice in downtown Okotoks, AB is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established team
We are seeking a hygienist to work 3 days per week beginning September 2026, with the opportunity to transition into a 4-day-per-week full-time position in March 2027
We are a single-dentist, independently owned practice with a small clinic environment and a long-term, supportive team. We are looking for someone who is a team player, dependable, and committed to providing excellent personalized patient care.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of dental hygiene experience
* Current registration to practice in Alberta
* Local anesthetic certification required
* Experience with Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is preferred
* Proficiency with ClearDent software is ideal
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
* Strong foundation in periodontal maintenance and preventive care
* Commitment to providing individualized, patient-centered treatment
Schedule
Our clinic operates four days per week with a rotating schedule:
* Monday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
* Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
* Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
* Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
From September through June, Thursdays and Fridays alternate as the fourth clinic day. During the summer months, the practice is open Monday through Thursday only, with no clinic on Fridays.
