Description
Researchers at SFU are looking for healthy individuals to participate in an exciting study on brain activity. You'll complete a series of non-invasive brain stimulation sessions and computer-based cognitive tasks to help us better understand how different brain regions communicate with each other across different age groups.

We are looking for healthy individuals to participate in this study.

You may be eligible to participate in our study if:
• You are a healthy participant between the ages of 19 and 59

The procedures include:
1. Brain stimulation, cognitive testing, EEG*, TMS**, MRI***; MEG****
2. About six visits to SFU Surrey Campus (TMS EEG), including 1 visit to
Surrey Memorial Hospital (MRI scan and MEG recording)

* EEG (Electroencephalography) is a measurement of the electrical activity of the brain by taping noninvasive surface electrodes to the skin and the scalp.
** TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate cells in the brain
*** MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses magnets and radio waves to create a detailed image of your brain.
**** MEG (Magnetoencephalography) records your brain activity by recording magnetic fields.

The study is being conducted at the SFU Surrey Campus.
You will receive $15/hour for your time in the study to cover the costs of participating, and you will be reimbursed for any transit fees.
