Pay: CA$22.00 - CA$30.00 per hour

You'll also get the chance to work with modern equipment, including our grapple saw crane truck, and gain experience on a diverse range of residential tree care projects.
What We're Looking For
- Currently working toward a career as an Arborist, or looking to take the next step in your climbing journey
- Some hands-on experience in tree care or a related outdoor industry is an asset
- Eager to learn from experienced arborists and develop your climbing, rigging, and tree care skills
- Comfortable working at heights (or ready to build your confidence through training)
- Valid G Driver's Licence (DZ is an asset)
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Reliable, safety-focused, and takes pride in doing quality work
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and someone who enjoys being part of a team
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting experienced arborists with tree pruning, removals, and preservation work
- Learning climbing and rigging techniques through hands-on training and mentorship
- Operating chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree service equipment
- Performing groundwork, site setup, cleanup
- Supporting the crew throughout the day
- Inspecting and maintaining climbing gear and equipment
- Building your knowledge of tree biology, pruning standards, and safe work practices
- Working in physically demanding outdoor conditions year-round while developing your career as an arborist

This is a permanent, full-time position with a typical 3 month winter layoff (January to March), with work resuming each spring.
