About the Role
GMC Plexiglass is hiring an experienced CNC Laser Cutting and Manufacturing Technician to operate our CO2 laser systems and manage acrylic fabrication workflows. This is a hands-on technical role with responsibility for equipment operation, file preparation, quality control, and supervising junior staff.

What You'll Do
- Operate and program laser cutting machines (Ruijie RJ-1325 CO2 laser)
- Prepare and optimize digital cutting files using RDWorks/LightBurn
- Adjust machine parameters based on material type and thickness
- Monitor production quality and reduce material waste
- Train and supervise junior operators
- Maintain production logs and quality records

What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of hands-on laser cutting machine operation
- Proficiency with laser software (RDWorks, LightBurn, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of material properties (acrylic, wood, plastic)
- Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files
- Industrial/technical secondary education or high-school diploma experience
- English or French proficiency

What We Offer
- $38.00/hour (permanent, no probationary period)
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
