B&R Paving is a locally owned paving company that has been serving London and the surrounding areas for 17 years.
We primarily specialize in residential driveways and commercial parking lots.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Seasonal General Labourer to join our paving crew for the season.

Position Details

- Position: Seasonal General Labourer
- Schedule: Full-time, weather dependent
- Start Time: 8:00 AM
- End Time: Varies depending on the day's work
- Location: 760 Little Simcoe Street, London ON
- Wage: Discussed during interview

Responsibilities

- Assist the paving crew with daily job-site tasks
- Shovel and move asphalt, gravel, dirt, and other materials
- Use hand tools such as:
- Shovels
- Brooms
- Pickaxes
- String lines
- Other basic construction tools
- Assist with preparing and cleaning job sites
- Help with asphalt and paving work as directed
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow instructions and workplace safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and properly

Requirements

- Previous construction or paving experience is an asset, but not required
- Must be comfortable performing physical labour
- Must be able to work outdoors in hot weather
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be willing to work a weather-dependent schedule
- Able to work as part of a team
- Must provide your own work boots and hi-vis vest

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, willing to learn, and isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty. Paving is physical work, and the right candidate should be comfortable working outdoors and staying active throughout the day.
