Hi everyone. I’m reaching out to our local pet community because we desperately need help with our dog Thor.

Thor has been extremely sick for about a week and a half. We knew something was seriously wrong but couldn’t figure out what was happening until further testing and X-rays yesterday. The vet found a mass involving his spleen as well as a suspected foreign object in his intestines. He needs veterinary treatment and surgery.

This has become extremely urgent. We have been told Thor may have to be euthanized around 1–2 PM TODAY if we cannot secure the financial help needed for his treatment.

I have already submitted an emergency assistance application to the Okanagan Humane Society, left them a voicemail and emailed them this morning. I’m trying absolutely every avenue I can.

I have a four-year-old daughter who loves Thor dearly, and he is part of our family. I cannot afford thousands of dollars in emergency veterinary expenses on my own.

We have started a GoFundMe for Thor. Even $5 or $10 helps. If you aren’t able to donate, PLEASE share his fundraiser — getting this in front of more people could genuinely make the difference for him today.
