We are looking to fill the position of equipment operator on a large cattle ranch in central BC. Class 1 preferred.

This is a position operating a variety of equipment including but not limited to loaders, dozers, farm equipment and semi trucks with trailers.

The perks of this job is that we provide single or small family accommodation and ranch beef at no charge including utilities minus internet, cell phone etc. this means we’re not paying mine rates, oil field rates or logging rates. It is a competitive wage but the wage includes housing, meat and a truck to use on the ranch. If you like a quiet rural life this is the place for you.

Hours vary depending on the time of year. We are very busy during harvest and it is an hourly wage year round. There is more than enough work for 40 hrs a week in the winter. No real downtime as there is always something to do but winter is slower and a better time for longer vacations. There is a probationary period but full time employment after that comes with medical benefits and rrsp contributions.
