Company- manufacturer of custom connectivity solutions, including wire harnessing, electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and box builds for a widely diverse group of industries.

Position: We are currently seeking a Quality Tester

$18.50-$21.00 per hour could be up to $23

Responsibilities will include:

Receives directions and information from Team Leader and Production Manager on policies relating to the quality requirements and output required by the Inspection & Test department.
Follow approved policies, procedures, and plans to achieve the high-quality efficient outputs of the Inspection & Test department.
Recommend potential areas of improvement in throughput and/or quality utilizing current and new systems.
Always strive to achieve the highest level of quality attainable.
Follow IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard guidelines to maintain quality control.
Follow Customer drawings, workmanship standards and guidelines to ensure every product build meets specifications.
Compile data as required to report production, test and quality information (Red Tags, Inspection and Test red tag report.)
Required Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma, basic math skills and demonstrated ability to read and write English
1-2 years of experience in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
Previous experience in the Electrical Manufacturing industry preferred
Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control will be an asset
Knowledge in Quality Management System – ISO 9001:2015/ TS 16949/QS 9000 or equivalent.
Strong problem solver.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances, statistics, and measurement techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner.
