FARM EQUIPMENT OPERATORS & 1A DRIVERS WANTED
Macfie Farms is hiring farm equipment operators for our grain operation based near Crystal Springs, Saskatchewan.
We are looking for dependable people who take pride in operating equipment properly, working efficiently, and getting the job done. Positions may be seasonal or year-round depending on experience, availability, and fit.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Operating combines, tractors, grain carts, harrows, unloading grain in yards and other farm related tasks
Performing daily inspections, greasing, cleaning, and basic maintenance
Monitoring equipment performance and reporting problems before they become major breakdowns
Following field instructions, GPS guidance, and job assignments
Assisting with harvest, grain handling, trucking, and general farm work
Keeping equipment, cabs, yards, and work areas clean and organized
Communicating clearly with supervisors and the rest of the crew
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experienced farm equipment operators
Seasonal combine and grain-cart operators
Class 1A drivers with farm experience
Mechanically inclined people who understand and respect machinery
Strong workers with limited farm experience who are willing to learn
Applicants must be dependable, safety-conscious, able to work long hours during busy seasons, and willing to follow established operating procedures. You must be able to work independently while still communicating as part of a team.
Experience with Case IH combines, New Holland or Case IH tractors,GPS guidance, sprayers, and Super-B grain trailers is an asset.
