HOME CARE WORKER SOUGHT
For an elderly gentleman with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. You must be interested in being registered at the Benny Farm CLSC Chèque Emploi-Service for a total of 21 hours a week (at $21.58 an hour)
Initially, however, you would begin work as soon as possible for a total of 6 hours a week at $25 an hour. This will be paid by the wife of the client and not the government. We live in NDG. An in- person interview will be required.
Duties may include emptying of a foley bag, toileting, and shared activities such as listening to music, doing jigsaw puzzles , engaging in conversation and reading to the gentleman. Experience is a decided asset. Knowledge of English is a must, French is a bonus and Spanish would be ideal.
