Dun Rite Stock Farm is a cow calf and backgrounding operation near the town of Bentley Alberta that operates a commercial and purebred cow calf herd, backgrounding enterprise and commercial bred heifer program.
We are currently looking to add another individual to our expanding operation. We are seeking an individual for the primary responsibility of show and sale cattle preparation. The individual will also be responsible for portions of the day-to-day production and facility maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
Sale cattle preparation
Sale facility preparation
Halter breaking
Clipping
Performance data collection and testing
Executing breeding plans
Traveling to shows and exhibits with cattle
Customer service
Other tasks as required
The right individual will have a strong work ethic, be detail orientated and have a flexible schedule to accommodate extra hours and travel during busy seasons.
This position is full-time, salary will be dependent on experience. Benefits are available after a 3-month probation period. Housing is available for the right candidate, successful applicant must have reliable transportation and acceptable drivers abstract.
