Buyer Awareness Post
I listed my kitten for $1,100 on OKz.ca. The buyer originally contacted me asking about another kitten and messaged me three separate times. She first offered $900, which I declined, and then offered $950 for my last available kitten.
About three hours after purchasing him, I noticed what appeared to be the same kitten listed on OKz.ca for $1,700 and by the days started to drop the price. The following morning, the buyer called me and said the kitten had meowed all night, hadn't eaten or drank anything, had been kept in a playpen, hadn't used the litter box, and had peed and pooped outside of it. She also said she might be pregnant and she wanted to get rid of the kitten.
I explained that it's normal for a kitten to take a few days to adjust to a new home. I also mentioned that I had seen the OKz.ca listing. She told me she would return the kitten, and I let her know she was welcome to do so, but there would be no refund.
For context, every other family who has purchased a kitten from me has told me their kittens adjusted well and had no issues.
I recently noticed another kitten being advertised from the same account. I encourage anyone buying or selling pets online to ask questions, do their own due diligence, and make sure they're comfortable with the transaction.
Clearly there’s no issues since she seeks to be reselling people’s kittens. Her OKz.ca name changes it went from olievr to William Olivia when her real name is not that.
This is her number 1 (368) 399-5181
