Private In-Home position,--18 km north of Lethbridge, Alberta

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate FEMALE worker to develop a caring, trusting relationship with a young woman with Acquired Brain and Spinal Cord Injury, to support her in living day to day to her fullest potential, and enjoying quality of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide full personal care.
-Provide standing transfers and mobility support.
-Support and assist with her rehab program including Range of Motion; Fitness Program; Equine Therapy; and Cognitive Therapy. On the job training provided and supervision provided.
-Provide or assist with Daily Living Skills
-Accompany to healthcare and rehab appointments.
-Accompany to and provide support in community and social activities.
-Provide or assist with household duties-light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, plant care etc.
-Provide companionship and emotional support.

REQUIREMENTS
-Caring, enthusiastic, responsible woman with a desire to assist client in living her life to the best of her ability.
-Physically fit, with strength to support mobility and rehab needs.
-Education and/or experience supporting the disabled.
-Valid Alberta Drivers License.
-Valid First Aid Certificate
-Fluent in the English language.
