Calgary Bathroom Installer - $1K-$2.5K/wk Full Training
Description
Rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of Alberta's newest bathroom safety installation network.
Trenworks BathCutter — Canada's #1 bathtub cutout specialist — is opening its Alberta operation and we're hiring skilled tradesmen who want steady dispatched work, no cold calling, no sales pressure, and real weekly income of $1,000-$2,500 installing our proprietary bathroom safety upgrades.
You already know how hard it is to build a trades business — the marketing, the phones, the quotes, chasing customers. Trenworks handles all of that for you. You show up, install what we sold, get paid, go home. We've been specializing in bathtub cutouts and bathroom safety installations in Ontario for 15 years with a full pipeline of leads coming in every day. Now expanding west.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Install bathtub step-in conversions — turn an existing bathtub into a safe walk-in shower in about 3 hours, no bathtub removal, no plumbing
• Install stainless steel grab bars, anti-slip treatments, and related bathroom safety products
• Work directly with elderly homeowners (senior demographic — respectful communication essential)
• Complete jobs neatly with our No Mess Guarantee Cleanup
WHAT WE PROVIDE (this is the good part):
• Full training on our proprietary cutting system — 5-7 days shadowing an experienced tech, no prior bathtub-cutout experience needed
• All materials and inventory shipped to you — inserts, glue, grab bars, hardware, all Trenworks stock at zero cost to you
• Leads dispatched directly to your phone — Alex, our AI closer, books the job and sends it to you. Zero cold calling. Zero marketing. Zero sales pressure.
• Commission-based pay: $400–$550 per install (higher for grab bar and door cap add-ons). Typical week: 2-5 installs = $1,000–$2,500 every week. Best installers routinely clear $3,000/wk in peak season.
• Flexible schedule around dispatch — pick up the jobs that fit your calendar
GROWTH PATH — this is where it gets serious.
Two roles are open across our expansion from Ontario to British Columbia:
• Preferred Installer — the standard contractor role. Works under a Lead Hand. Trained by the Lead Hand on the Trenworks cutting system. Materials supplied for every job. Realistic earnings: $500–$1,500 per day based on install volume add-ons.
• Lead Hand — the primary hire in each metro area. Runs the metro, dispatches installs to Preferred Installers under you, builds your own crew as demand grows. Realistic earnings: $2,000 per day with a functioning 2-3 tech crew.
Optional Fast-Track Certification — for prospects with no direct bathtub-cutout experience who want to become dispatch-ready fast: one-time $4,795 program. Includes one-on-one on-site training with Robby (the founder) at your home a full bathroom safety upgrade installed in YOUR bathroom during training (retail value $2,500–$3,500, yours to keep as your live demo). NOT required — applicants with proven bathroom / plumbing / renovation trade experience are hired directly with no fee. Program details at BestBathCutter.ca
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
• Physically fit — the work involves kneeling, cutting through cast-iron, steel and fiberglass bathtubs, then lifting and hauling out the cutout piece (cast-iron cutout sections can be quite heavy — often 15-40 lbs — so safe lifting technique matters). We do NOT remove or replace the whole tub — we cut a step-in section out of it while it stays in place, dispose of the piece, and finish the opening. Not for the faint of heart.
• Legal to work in Canada (PR, citizenship, or valid open work permit)
• Small cargo van or minivan — your own work vehicle to carry inserts, tools, and materials between jobs
• Your own assortment of power tools and equipment — we'll walk you through the exact list during onboarding.
• Your own contractor liability insurance worker safety insurance for your province (WCB in Alberta / Saskatchewan / Manitoba, WSIB in Ontario, WorkSafeBC in BC, CNESST in Quebec) — standard for trades everywhere, we'll help you sort it out if you don't have it yet
• Basic English communication for talking with customers
• Reliable, comfortable working alone in customer homes
Ideal background: handyman, plumber's helper, tile installer, drywaller, kitchen/bath renovator, or general trades. Immigrant tradespeople strongly encouraged to apply — Trenworks has employed multiple skilled immigrant contractors in our Ontario operation for years.
Preference given to candidates with direct experience in bathtub cutout / step-in conversion installation, grab bar installation, or bathroom and home renovation work — but if that's not you and you've done related trades, still apply. The standard training program takes you from a general trades background to a fully qualified Trenworks installer in about a week.
NEXT STEP (act fast — Alberta launch is happening now):
Text or call Hank at (289) 274-9560 — our installer intake line. Give a quick note about your trade background and how long you've been in Canada. Text preferred (Robby is on the road — Hank handles all installer applications and Robby personally follows up within 24 hours). Resumes also welcome — email to info@trenworks.com. We're on the cross-Canada tour August through September and aiming to meet Alberta candidates in person during our Calgary and Edmonton stops — first Alberta installers get first pick of territory and best dispatch priority.
