Our Pyrenees Puppy Parents Dotty and Gus have had 6 Healthy and Hearty Puppies. They are the common light and traditional luxury colorings.

OUR PARENT DOGS
Our Parents, Dotty and Gus are our family dogs, and are active Livestock Guardian Dogs on our Farm (except for Maternity leave)
DOTTY (Mom) is the traditional luxury Salt and Pepper Colored Great Pyrenees. Her Father (Chopper) has a hint of Maremma. Dotty is a great mom, loves her babies, and is very healthy, which passed to her strong puppies. Dotty has lots of energy, and is always smiling. She loves her people, canine, feline, and livestock families with all her heart.
GUS (Dad) is magnificent. He has not finished filling out yet, but we are guessing he may be our biggest Pyrenees on the Ranch. Gus actively watches sheep, goats, chickens, and lives with a pack of Guardians. He fit in well quickly, is very alert and attentive to make sure everything is as it should be, and is overall a great Guardian. I can’t pick favorites as a breeder, but Gus challenges that. Gus is Great Pyrenees with 1/8 Maremma.

PUPPIES COME WITH
-vet check and certificate
-dewormer
-sm bag of started food to mix with your own (We use IAMS lg Breed Puppy, and Blue Buffalo Puppy)
-Beginner amounts of training to be respectful, to sit for a greeting, and introduction to potty training outside.
-Your puppy will start to be trained as a livestock guardian with our livestock. If you have a specific type of animal that you want it to be around, let us know.
The choice to vaccinate, chip, tatoo or not will be left to the new owner.

ABOUT THE BREED
Pyrenees are meant to guard their flock. Yes, a family can be a flock, but they will defend you. They will likely bark at delivery people, or strangers they don’t know. The instinct to protect is strong in them, and should not try to be removed. They do better in larger spaces. Apartments are not good for this breed. Houses can work, and Yards or in the Country is best. They can be a bit nocturnal, ans sometimes make noise at night (like if they heat a concern, or smell a preditor). They grow to be large. Males around 100 lbs, females 85 lbs. They get long coats, and yes, they can live outside all winter with a rain/snow shelter as long as they have been allowed to get used to the cold. They can work alone, but we always recommend more than one. Two dogs are not double the work, they are less than half the work when they have a companion to play and work with.
