Unlabeled 4/4 violin ready to play. Heavily flamed beautiful 2 piece back and antique finish. This appears to be a violin from the early 1900's that has had a split in the top. Such splits are not uncommon and properly restored will last permanently. This one has been fully restored and is guaranteed for 1 year.
The violin is fully set up ready to tune up and play. The varnish is very antique looking and has been sealed with new varnish rub polish. It has a new aged maple bridge, new ebony fingerboard & nut, new Wittner composite tailpiece with 4 fine tuners, and Thomastik Superflexible steel core strings.
The violin plays easily with a well balanced tone. This is an excellent instrument for students, and serious players, especially fiddlers. The age, wood quality and wear provides good character. One free adjustment to suit personal needs.
