* Maintaining inventory levels for all ingredients, packaging, and finished products.
* Creating minimum and maximum stock levels for every SKU.
* Forecasting inventory based on sales trends.
* Ordering raw materials and packaging before stock reaches reorder points.
* Coordinating with production so ingredients are always available.
* Managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing.
* Tracking expiry dates and reducing waste.
* Conducting weekly cycle counts and monthly full inventory counts.
* Maintaining accurate inventory records in QuickBooks or your inventory system.
* Preparing weekly reports showing:
* Items running low
* Overstocked items
* Inventory value
* Expected delivery dates
* Potential production risks

Ideal qualifications

* 3–5 years of inventory or supply chain experience (preferably in food manufacturing).
* Strong Excel and inventory management skills.
* Experience with ERP or inventory software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
* Excellent planning and organizational skills.
