Journeyperson Electricians – Service & Projects (Commercial/Multi-family)

Job Overview:
We are currently hiring Journeyperson Electricians to join our growing team, with opportunities available in both Service and Projects divisions. These roles are focused on commercial work and are ideal for skilled electricians who take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism.

Available Positions:
Service Journeyperson Electrician:
This role is suited for electricians who excel in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and client-facing service work.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete commercial service calls in a professional and timely manner.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues including panel faults, circuit failures, equipment malfunctions, and low-voltage systems.
Perform small installations, upgrades, and repairs such as lighting, receptacles, breakers, motors, controls, and equipment hookups.
Communicate findings and recommended solutions clearly with clients and office staff.
Complete detailed service documentation and reports.
Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code, safety standards, and company procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and professional jobsite presence.
Coordinate daily tasks with Site Leads and Project Managers.
Projects Journeyperson Electrician (Commercial/Multi-family):
This role is ideal for electricians who enjoy structured construction environments and working as part of a coordinated project team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical installations on commercial construction projects, including new builds, renovations, tenant improvements, and upgrades.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
Install and terminate conduit, wiring, panels, distribution equipment, and lighting systems.
Coordinate daily tasks with Site Leads and Project Managers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Identify and report material shortages, site issues, or drawing discrepancies.
Support testing, commissioning, and deficiency resolution as required.
Follow all site safety requirements, company policies, and code standards.
Qualifications & Skills (Applies to All Positions)
Certified Journeyperson Electrician (Red Seal preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of electrical experience in commercial environments.
Strong technical knowledge and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on role assignment.
Excellent communication and professionalism on job sites and with clients.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic or installation equipment.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
Previous experience working out of a service vehicle is an asset (Service role).
Site lead or crew lead experience is an asset (Projects role).
Safety-focused, dependable, and detail-oriented.
