Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and hands-on Tower Climber / Field Support Technician to assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our wireless broadband network infrastructure. In this role, you will work both at elevated heights on communications towers and on the ground at base station sites, ensuring our network operates with high reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Tower & Elevated Work: Perform construction, installation, maintenance, and repairs on guyed, self-support (typically up to 150–250 ft).
Equipment Installation: Mount, align, and service wireless equipment, including point-to-point radios, sector antennas, fiber cabling, and mounting hardware.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Perform routine inspections, line-of-sight tests, sweep testing, and emergency repairs on network hardware and tower structures.
Ground Operations: Assist with ground-level site builds, cabinet/rack wiring, power/battery system installation, and site clean-up.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to standard Fall Protection, Work at Heights, and site safety procedures. Participate in pre-climb safety meetings and hazard assessments.
Documentation: Maintain accurate field logs, site photos, and completion checklists for all assigned work orders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certifications (or willingness to obtain):
Working at Heights / Fall Arrest Certification.
Rigging and Tower Rescue Training.
Valid First Aid / CPR certificate.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb towers continuously and work comfortably at significant heights in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50–70 lbs of tools and equipment.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic testing/diagnostic tools (RF/cable testers, multimeters).
Understanding of basic networking/IP concepts and cabling (Cat6, Fiber) is a strong plus.
General Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (comfortable driving service vehicles/trucks).
Ability to travel regionally for field work and respond to occasional emergency call-outs.
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
