Buckskin gelding
15.3 HH
Scar on right hind from barb wire cut 3 years ago but is completely healed and 100% sound on it. Alittle pigeon toed on the front end. Never bucked, bolted, bit or kicked. Not spooky but looky.
Stall broke, electric fence broke, hobble broke. Mid range pecking order.
Loads, trailers. Stands tied all day. Good for farrier (size 1 shoe) has been shod without issue. Baths and clips.
We were told he did 6 months working on a feedlot when he was 3 years old. Then he sat for 2 years. We bought him when he was 5.
We purchased him in December of 2022.
Good with dogs, cats and any other farm animal. A very kind hearted and curious fella.
My husband started riding him first and seeing what he knew, had him on the barrel pattern and tracking the roping dummy.
I then started using him to do mounted archery and trail riding. I never used him for anything other than a walk.
My kids have rode him
at a walk as well.
I did all the slow work with him, when my husband got back on him they started to butt heads. He didn’t want to work for him anymore. He became over sensitive to added pressure. I can tell he favours women over men.
Needs experienced rider, not for beginners.
