Are you reliable, physically active, and good with details? We are looking for a trustworthy Bread Route Driver for a dedicated city route.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced job that combines driving, heavy lifting, inventory management, and customer service. If you take pride in doing a clean job and keeping local stores stocked, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Load Building: Read daily build sheets accurately to assemble, load, and organize your truck for the day.
Delivery Service: Run a fixed city route, delivering exact orders to retail stores based on their daily needs.
Merchandising: Fill store shelves, organize displays, and practice proper stock rotation.
Quality Control: Inspect product on shelves and pull returns (anything expiring within 3 days).
Tray & Asset Management: Collect and account for all empty bakery trays from store backrooms and bring them back daily.
Communication: Talk with store managers to address inventory needs and keep route management updated on any road/store issues immediately.
What We’re Looking For:
Physical Strength: Able to consistently lift heavy boxes, maneuver loaded stacks of bread trays, and handle repetitive loading/unloading all day.
Sharp Eye for Detail: Must be able to follow build sheets accurately so stores get the right product every single time.
Top-Notch Communication: Clear, polite, and responsive communication with store staff and management is non-negotiable.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to work standard route hours (including early morning starts).
Driver Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Job Details & Pay:
Position: Full-Time / Permanent (City Route)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Early Mornings
Pay: 20$ / hour
Location: Winnipeg
