Red Seal Truck & Transport Mechanic with CVIP Licence – GP
Description
6 Point Energy Services Inc. is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic with a current Alberta CVIP licence to join our team in Grande Prairie.
We are looking for someone who wants to be more than just another mechanic in a large shop. The successful applicant will play an important role in helping us develop our internal maintenance and CVIP inspection program while keeping our trucks and trailers safe, reliable and working.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial trucks and trailers.
Complete CVIP inspections on company equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, air, brake, suspension and aftertreatment issues.
Accurately document repairs, inspections and identified defects.
Work with drivers and management to address equipment concerns.
Help organize and maintain a clean, safe and efficient shop.
Assist with developing our internal maintenance and CVIP program.
Ensure all work meets Alberta CVIP and company safety requirements.
Requirements
Alberta Red Seal/Journeyperson Truck and Transport Mechanic certification.
Current Alberta Vehicle Inspection Technician licence for commercial trucks and trailers.
Experience repairing heavy-duty trucks and commercial trailers.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Valid driver’s licence.
Able to work independently and prioritize repairs.
Reliable, organized and safety-minded.
Able to communicate effectively with drivers and management.
