Amber will be available to go to her new home on or after September 15, 2026. This allows time for a proper weaning, continued daily handling, halter training, and a smooth introduction to grain before heading to her new family.

Why this cross?

One of the things that gives me so much confidence in Amber is that I know both sides of this cross extremely well.

I ride her maternal half-sister, Brandy, out of Strawberry, and she's the kind of mare every ranch wants in their pasture. She's gritty, honest, and incredibly hardworking. If a cow brushes up, Brandy is in there without hesitation. Moving grumpy, stubborn bulls? Brandy eats bulls for breakfast. She is confident, strong, soft to ride, and has the determination to get the job done—whether that's gathering cattle in the pasture or stepping into the show ring.

On the sire's side, I'm currently riding SH SCORZ A LEGEND (Fabio) myself, and from day one he's been an absolute pleasure to train. There has never been any funny business. He's always been upfront about his personality, incredibly respectful, eager to learn, and exceptionally willing. He's a soft-moving horse you could comfortably ride all day, and his quiet, trainable mind is exactly what I hope he's passing on to his foals.

When I planned this cross, I wasn't just breeding for colour or papers—I was breeding for the kind of horse I'd want to swing a leg over every single day. Amber combines the grit and work ethic of her dam line with the kind, willing, trainable mind of her sire, and I truly believe that's what makes her so special.
