We are a locally owned company looking for a skilled and motivated Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized shop.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (or equivalent).
• Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and construction or agricultural equipment is considered an asset.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
