You’ll be the main connection between our crews in the field and the office—making sure every job is staffed, crews have what they need, customers stay informed, and the day runs smoothly.

This role is ideal for a natural leader who communicates well, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys taking ownership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

* Recruit and hire movers, drivers, casual workers, and contractors as needed
* Schedule crews and ensure every daily job is fully staffed
* Arrange coverage when someone becomes unavailable
* Be the main point of contact for crews in the field
* Help solve unexpected issues that come up during jobs
* Keep customers updated, especially when crews are running behind
* Handle customer follow-ups and general service questions
* Complete site visits and assess jobs for estimates
* Check that crews are in proper uniform and representing the company professionally
* Inspect company vehicles and report damage or maintenance concerns
* Work closely with the office on scheduling, job timing, and estimates
* Occasionally step in to help cover a service when required

WHAT THE ROLE IS REALLY LIKE:

Most of the role is managed from your phone through calls, messages, scheduling, and coordination.

Micro Moves operates seven days a week, so flexibility across the weekly schedule is required. The workload varies—some days may involve only a few calls and messages, while others are more active and hands-on.

This role suits someone who likes being the person everything runs through and takes pride in keeping an operation organized.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

* Strong leadership and people-management skills
* Excellent customer service and communication
* Highly organized and calm under pressure
* Responsive and comfortable spending a large part of the day on the phone
* Experience managing field crews or working in logistics, operations, or a service-based business
* Moving-industry experience is a strong asset
* Valid BC driver’s licence and clean driving record
* Flexibility across a seven-day operating schedule
* Reliable, proactive, and willing to take ownership

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

* $55,000 annual salary
* Compensation reviewed for an increase within the first year based on performance
* Company vehicle provided
