Job Title: Casual Nanny / Support Worker Needed for 11-Year-Old girl Location: Calgary, AB (T2B area)
Position Type: Casual / Part-Time (Highly Flexible Hours)
Compensation: Based on standard FSCD rates (to be discussed further during the initial meeting)
About the Role:
We are seeking a patient, energetic, and engaging casual nanny to support a wonderful 11-year-old girl with autism. The main goal of this role is to keep her active, busy, and tired out through engaging activities. This position offers highly flexible hours, making it perfect for students looking to gain hands-on experience in child development, behavior management, or community support.
Key ResponsibilitiesActive Outings: Drive the child to various indoor and outdoor parks to burn off energy.
Event Engagement: Accompany and support the child at local community events.
Active Supervision: Maintain a safe, energetic, and structured environment at all times.Safe Transit: Pick up the child, manage the outing safely, and bring her back home.
What We Are Looking For &Background: Psychology, Education, Social Work, or Nursing students are highly preferred. Any student with a strong interest or experience in working with kids and individuals with diverse needs is welcome to apply.Transportation: Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
Documentation: A valid driver’s abstract is required.First Aid: Standard First Aid / CPR certification is preferred.
References: Must provide 2 professional or childcare-related references.
