Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a General Labourer to join their warehouse team in Richmond Hill, ON. This is a short-term temporary warehouse assignment with an expected duration of approximately 3 to 6 months with possibility of the role turning permanent.

Responsibilities:
Perform general cleanup and housekeeping duties as required.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Assemble doors and related parts as required.
Participate in inventory counts and inventory management activities.
Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
Assemble and dismantle racking systems as required.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Operate a forklift when required.
Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Support the warehouse team with general labour and material-handling duties.

Requirements:
Safety boots are required.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Basic electrical knowledge is considered an asset.
Forklift experience/certification is considered an asset.
Working at Heights certification is considered an asset.
Construction experience or a construction background is considered an asset.
Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.

Work Hours:
Initial training period: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Following the training period: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

Overtime opportunities may become available as the company approaches its busier period.
