Roommate & Mentor – St. Albert

We are looking for a **mature, self - directed, reliable adult** to share a fully furnished condo with our 34 - year-old son, who has a developmental disability.

He works three days a week and enjoys hockey, the gym, sports, and being involved in his community. We are looking for someone who would enjoy sharing a home while encouraging his independence, confidence, and continued growth.

This is a **purposeful shared - living role—not a caregiving position** The focus is on being a supportive roommate and mentor who can encourage success at home, at work, in the community, and in everyday life.

**The opportunity includes:**
• $3,100 per month compensation
• $750 per month rent (includes private furnished bedroom, private bathroom, heated underground parking, utilities, and internet )
• Mileage reimbursement for approved driving related to the role
• Flexible time off

The right person is dependable, organized, patient, and positive, with a good sense of humour and the ability to build a respectful, trusting relationship.

**Requirements:**
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable insured vehicle
• Vulnerable Sector Check
