Made in Japan under the auspices of the CF Martin & Company in approximately 1973.

Their design, their oversight, Japanese build. Finished models were shipped to the Martin USA factory for final inspection and adjustment before being released to the market. Notice the Mother of Pearl Sigma emblem in the headstock. This feature was limited to the early releases and is prized by collectors.

This isn’t quite a baby Martin, but it’s close. Overall length is only one meter making the fretboard far too tight for my big hands, but an ideal guitar for persons of a smaller stature.

Mahogany neck, with Rosewood fretboard. You’ll get a clear, ringing tone from this guitar with it’s laminated mahogany back and sides and laminated spruce top.
The strings are new Martins, and when installed, I’ve changed the bridge pins to brass.

The overall condition is very good USED condition.
