Green Acres Tech is looking for a temporary, full-time soil sampling technician to provide in-field soil sampling support during the 2026 soil sampling season. Tasks include conducting soil sampling according to trained procedures, working with GPS programs, and ensuring all samples are recorded and labeled properly.
Position Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s license (abstract may be requested)
• Basic computer skills
• Methodical approach to repetitious tasks, and
• Ability to work outside alone with little supervision.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and/or experience are considered an asset.
Soil sampling work experience is not required as Green Acres Tech will train a suitable candidate. Agricultural background is an asset but not essential, this position is open to all applicants.
Work area is Weyburn and the surrounding areas. Candidates can reside anywhere within an hour radius of Weyburn.
The hourly wage is between $18.00 and $27.00 per hour, based on experience. Overtime will be paid. Start date will be September 15th, with work guaranteed to November 15th. Additional work dependent on weather conditions.
Those wishing only part-time or weekend work will be considered.
