If you see an ad for a free PS5, it's a scam. They offered to mail it to me if I paid shipping, which of course is fair, but after I sent them $50 to cover shipping, they said they hadn't received it and asked me to send it again. I knew it had been deposited, but received a very sketch email saying it hadn't, and that I should get it back in 24 hrs. I said that I would resend the money when I get it back. They tried to get me to send more money right away because more people wanted it. I knew this tactic, so I said no, not until I get my first $50 back. Also to note, the ad I responded to was out of 100 Mile House and came down when I contacted them. Now the ad is back up, and suddenly they live in Aldergrove. The name they are using for e-transfer is Leanna Dixon Lmdixon40@gmail.com
although I doubt that it's their real name.

If the scammers see this: shame on you. You stole  money from  a single, disabled  mom who used what little  bit of savings  I have to get my kids something that they wouldn't have gotten otherwise.  We have no other consoles, we don't go on vacations, hell my youngest  has never left the Island because I can't afford the ferry.  So if you take  $50  from me, it's not money  I can afford to loose. That's groceries, or emergency  dental  care.  I know people who scam others have no empathy, but at least now you know who you stole from. Hopefully karma finds you.
