Dairy Farm Worker

KTW Wilting Farms Ltd. is seeking a full time dedicated Dairy Farm Workers to join our team and contribute to the daily operations of our dairy farm in Atwood, ON, Canada.
Job Duties:
- Milking cows according to established farm procedures and schedules
- Preparing cows for milking, including cleaning and sanitizing udders
- Assisting with calving and calf care
-Operating and maintaining milking equipment and parlour systems
-Monitoring animal health and reporting concerns such as illness or injury
-Cleaning and sanitizing the milking parlour and equipment after each milking
-Assisting with operating and maintaining farm equipment
-Assisting with feeding, bedding, and general barn and outdoor maintenance as required and all general farm duties
-Following all farm policies, biosecurity protocols, and health and safety procedures
-Working independently during assigned shifts and cooperatively with other farm workers
Job Requirements:
-Must be able to work full-time hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Ability to work as part of a team
-Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working in barn conditions
- Applicants must have a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of hands-on agriculture experience to ensure familiarity with livestock and working conditions. (Please provide any relevant reference letters with your application)
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced dairy farm setting
-Exposure to livestock, equipment, and varying weather conditions
Wage & Vacancies:
$17.60 per hour working full time with an average 45-50 hours per week.
