Potato Grader – Seasonal Harvest Position (2026)

Fletcher Resources is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team for the 2026 seed potato harvest season. Harvest is expected to begin in late August or early September and continue through late September, weather permitting.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in agriculture, are detail-oriented, and can work efficiently in a team environment.

Potato Grader (Seasonal Harvest Labourer)
Job Type
* Seasonal
* Full-time
* Overtime available during peak harvest periods
Wage
$18.34/hour
Duties and Responsibilities
* Grade seed potatoes on conveyor lines and harvest grading equipment
* Remove cull potatoes, soil clumps, rocks, and foreign material
* Identify and remove damaged, diseased, cut, green, or misshapen potatoes
* Maintain quality standards for certified seed potatoes
* Assist with loading, unloading, and handling potato containers as required
* Keep grading areas clean and organized
* Follow food safety, biosecurity, and workplace safety procedures
* Work efficiently as part of a team to meet harvest targets
* Perform other harvest-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
* No previous experience required; training will be provided
* Previous agricultural, warehouse, manufacturing, or production-line experience is an asset
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks
* Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
Working Conditions
* Indoor and outdoor grading environments
* Work may be performed in potato storages, grading facilities, and harvest yards
* Exposure to varying weather conditions when grading outdoors
* Repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail
* Standing for extended periods
* Busy harvest environment with long days during peak harvest
* Overtime and weekend work may be required during harvest season
