CNC Machinist job in Concord
Must have 3 years of experience.
Monday to Friday 7 am to 4 pm
Pay rate - $28/hr

About the Role: We're looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC turning centers producing precision aluminum components. You'll work with aircraft-grade materials to tight tolerances in a quality-driven ISO 9001:2015 environment.
Set up and operate CNC lathes and turning centers (2-3 axis)
· Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications
· Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments
· Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and toolpaths for aluminum machining
· Edit and optimize CNC programs at the machine as needed
· Monitor tool wear and replace inserts/tooling to maintain part quality
· Maintain tight tolerances on precision components
· Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
· Document production data and quality records per ISO 9001:2015 requirements
· Collaborate with quality and engineering teams on process improvements
Requirements:
3 years of CNC lathe/turning center experience
· Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T
· Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMM experience an asset)
· Working knowledge of G-code; ability to edit programs at the control
· Experience machining aluminum is a strong asset
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Trade certification (Red Seal Machinist) or equivalent experience preferred
· Familiarity with Fanuc or similar CNC controls
