Good morning. I run a small scrap/salvage business located in Stonewall, MB. Most of my work is cleaning up farmyards and rural properties. We do everything from picking up a single vehicle to property cleanups such as you would see on the Hoarders television show.
I am seeking one mature, reliable person to work beside me on 40 hr a week basis. Most of the job is just assisting on a worksite. Chasing tools, often just backing up a basic automatic truck as I load it with a skidsterr. Assisting with load tie downs, etc. Some manual work is involved, but nothing overly heavy. I just need a body to be on site to be a second pair of hands or eyes when needed,
Male or Female are equal in this job. My best helper yet was a little 5ft2 Gal that sadly had to return home to help her family this spring. Requirements are nothing more than a valid drivers license and means to get to Stonewall each day and a willingness to actually work. I can teach the rest. For the right person I can teach you how to operate a skidsteer, assist in getting a class 3 license and teach many other working skills.
This job is outdoors, and very seldom in the same place for long. You will see ALL of backroad Manitoba, meet new people almost every day and very very often find amazing and unique "treasures" buried in a cleanup. Canadian pickers idea. Start wage is 20$/hr CASH.
