General summer labourer

Currently looking for part time casual general labourer to join our team at our lakefront property on Whitefish Lake AB, We are 45min south of Lac La Biche. They will be required to assist in tasks involving physical labour and construction projects, and to operate a variety of hand and power tools as well as site lawn maintenance.

* Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
* Construction labour experience preferred
* Knowledge of First Aid and CPR preferred
* Valid Drivers License and clean abstract preferred
* Work in all weather conditions.
* Performs various physical duties as assigned.
* Landscaping as needed
* Maintain all safety standards.
* Familiarity with machinery is an asset (e.g. lawnmower, quads, tractors)
* Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding, ladders, etc )
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 100 pounds)
* Good hand-eye coordination
* Communication and teamwork skills.
* Any other tasks deemed necessary by management
Work Hours
- Monday to Friday with the occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed
- on site accommodations provided
- Shifts can start as early as 7am dependant on weather
- Shifts range from 8-12 hours long
- Access to beachfront on time off
- On site accommodations are provided (ie camping accommodations
Laborer Qualifications/Skills:
* Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
* Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety
* Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
* Ability to work independently and with others
