The Opportunity:
We are not looking for a standard parts machinist. We are seeking a CNC Mozaic Specialist for our Brampton facility who understands the unique mechanics, tolerances, and aesthetics of high-end mozaic fabrication.You must have direct, previous experience working with mozaics. You will own the entire production cycle—from programming complex puzzle-like nests to setting up and operating the machinery to execute the cuts flawlessly.

Your Core Responsibilities:
Mozaic Programming: Convert intricate geometric and organic mozaic artwork into highly optimized G-code, managing complex nests with tight tolerances.Precision
Setup: Select correct tooling, calculate feeds/speeds for mozaic materials, and secure delicate stock for zero-error cutting.
Machine Operation: Run multi-axis CNC machines or waterjets, monitoring cuts to prevent material chipping, cracking, or shifting.
Quality Match: Inspect cut pieces to ensure seamless, gap-free final assembly and perfect grain or color alignment.

Required Qualifications:
Mandatory:
Proven previous experience specifically fabricating, programming, or handling mozaic designs.
Full autonomy in all three pillars: CNC Programming, Setup, and Operation.
Mastery of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Vectric Aspire, Fusion 360, Mastercam, RhinoCAM).
Expert knowledge of tooling and feed rates for mozaic mediums (stone, marble, glass, tile, or exotic hardwoods).
Must be able to commute to our Brampton shop for the 7:30 AM shift.
