Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, carpentry, and related construction skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and restoration projects, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. Duties
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing and carpentry tasks
• Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofs, siding, and concrete forms
• Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform concrete finishing and forming tasks with precision
• Assist in restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures
• Handle heavy lifting and material movement to ensure project efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and productivity
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
• Proven experience in framing, carpentry, or general construction work
• Skilled in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics
• Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as lifts or excavators is a plus
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and woodworking techniques
• Knowledge of siding installation and general building practices is desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or on scaffolding as needed
• Prior experience in residential or commercial construction projects preferred
